History
Our Founder Mr. SP Periasamy started this company in the year 1970 as a proprietorship firm. The Initial contract value was not more than 30,000 INR which was used to secure contracts by the proprietor in his name. Later, when the proprietorship company started to grow and his brother Mr. SP Chinnasamy joined him after completing his graduation, SP Periasamy & Co. was formed as a partnership company in the year 1977.
Since 1977, there was no looking back. It was then, the company had entered into many government departments like PWD, TNHB, Railways, Police Housing, Slum Clearance Board, CPWD, etc… under this name the company grew rapidly and reached a sales figure of rupees 30 Crores per annum, in the year 1993 itself.
after 1994, in order to take part in international bidding and overcome the challengers in the partnership firm, the promoters started a Private Limited Company called P&C Constructions (P) Ltd.,
Both the Companies SP Periasamy&Co. and P&C Constructions (P) Ltd., did very good business in their respective verticals. It was in 2004, that both the companies together had crossed a sales figure of Rs.100 Crores PA.
Having felt the difficulties in managing two contracting companies in one roof, in the year 2004, SP Periasamy & Co., was merged with P&C Constructions (P) Ltd.,
P&C Constructions (P) Ltd., was changed as P&C Projects (P) Ltd., in the year 2015.
Today, the company’s presence is very well established in the fields of Residential, Public, Commercial, Industrial buildings, Roads & Bridges, irrigation & water supply sectors, WTP & STP projects and also in Railways.
The Company’s strength is it's Manpower and Plant & Machinery built on the foundation of its characters like ethical business behavior & timely delivery with the highest quality.
Today, we are marching towards 500 crore Sales figures, with a vision of reaching 1000 crore by the year 2020.

Mr. SP Periasamy ( Founder Chairman )
The son of a farmer, Mr. SP Periaswamy started small in 1970, after a few initial ventures like the motor dealership and as a transport operator, he founded a civil contracting business. Starting from scratch, he became a leader in the business. The civil contracting business involved the construction of various buildings, which he operated in his own distinct style. The business policies and ethics set by him still hold good and are the reasons for it’s growth today. He has also started other businesses like Poultry farming, Starch Manufacturing unit and has taken the initial steps to start an Engineering institution. He was the chairman of the company till 2014 and even though he has retired, he still actively works and guides the management in the operations of the company.
Mr. SP Chinnasamy ( Chairman )
He is the younger brother of Mr. SP Periasamy, a physics graduate, who accompanied his brother in the year 1974. In 1996, when the partnership firm was converted into a Limited Company, he took charge as the Managing Director and since 2014, he has been the Chairman of the company. He was responsible for introducing of a technological approach to the business and by which our growth was phenomenal. He also started to follow systems in all the departments of the company, which has evolved and been more fully set to today’s level. Those systems have become laws and earned the company an ethical business behavior both in the minds of Clients and Competitors.
Mr. SP Ravishankar ( Managing Director )
The elder Son of Mr. SP Periasamy, and an Architect by qualification, Mr. Ravishankar joined in the business in 1998. He has been on the field since then and has completed many projects in housing sectors, commercial, industrial, etc... He has been forward-looking and has used various new technologies including modern types of machinery & plants which have not only increased the efficiency of our work but also added more clients to his list. He took over as the Managing Director of the Company in April 2014.
Mr. SP Rajesh ( Joint Managing Director )
Mr. SP Rajesh is the younger son of Mr. SP Periasamy, an Engineering Graduate by education, he joined the business in 1999. Like his brother, he is also in the field but manages a completely different Client line. He has successfully completed many projects in the fields of Irrigational infrastructure, Roads and Bridges etc... His interest in the fields of software has refined the process lines of the company to become more efficient and productive. He took over as The Joint Managing Director of the Company in April 2014.
Mr. SC Sivakumar ( Executive Director )
He is the elder son of Mr. SP Chinasamy, he is a Civil Engineering with a PG in Construction Management, and has entered the business in the year 2008. He was able to tap new opportunities in the field of construction of roads and bridges. Under him the company got many new orders and has since become a separate vertical, and an unavoidable competitor in the field.
Mr. SC Keerthi Shankar (Executive Director)
He is the younger son of Mr. SP Chinasamy, a Civil Engineering graduate from IIT Chennai, he entered the business in the year 2014. His innovative approach in dealing the contracts, has brought down the cost and reduced the communication gap between the management: executors and the client, resulting in early completion. He has attempted to restructure the systems without disturbing its ethics and reputation.
